DrOmics is a Molecular Diagnostics lab that provides genetic predisposition testing for various major diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and metabolic disorders. While these diseases are widespread, understanding one’s genetic predisposition to them can be life-saving. According to the latest report from ICMR, early detection of cancer can increase a patient’s survival chances tenfold. With this noble goal in mind, we established DrOmics. During the journey, We discovered a gap between the skill expectations of the industry and academia due to the ever-changing nature of technologies such as machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence. This is why we have introduced Bioinformatics-based training and courses for life sciences students, aiming to bridge the divide between academia and industry.
